Can be illuminated to provide diffuse light or wayfinding

Installation

 Can be fabricated with most tools used for machining plastics, wood or metal. Sawing, drilling, routing, laser cutting/etching, hot/cold bending, thermoforming (only on uncoated material), or laminating operations are viable
